Summary
We are looking for energetic and self-motivated candidates to help us bridge the worlds of cloud networking and wireless systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop system specifications and prototype new concepts in wireless technologies.
- Design, implement, test, and demonstrate new software features in small iterations.
- Research and provide analysis on existing technology standards and methods.
- Contribute to project schedules, development of software processes and procedures, and evaluation of software design tools.
- Some travel required.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field. Masters / Ph. D. preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience development of mobile applications for large scale deployment utilizing public (e.g. Amazon) or private (e.g. enterprise) cloud environments.
- Experience developing Spring MVC / Hibernate / MySQL web applications.
- Experience with OpenStack development and deployment of OpenStack-based solutions a plus.
- Excellent programming skills. Experience with object oriented programming languages, preferably Java is a plus. Experience with scripting languages additionally considered a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, preferably Scrum.
- Strong problem solving, logic, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
