Big Data SDE
In this role, you will divide your time doing a variety of tasks including: code design and implementation; debugging and extending existing code; managing automated processes and environments; analyzing data and translation systems quality.
Qualifications:
- Has experience writing SCOPE scripts, including custom Extractors, Processors, Reducers, and Outputters. Proficient with the Cosmos storage model, management of a Cosmos virtual cluster and its jobs and data. Proficient with the use of structured stream features to optimize script performance, knowledgeable about the specific limitations and behavior characteristics of Cosmos and SCOPE, and about how the Cosmos architecture impacts SCOPE implementation and performance.
- Expert knowledge of C# and .NET required.
- Expert in general programming skills such as quick comprehension of existing code and debugging.
- Comfortable with concurrent programming and distributed processing techniques. Experience with Microsoft High Performance Computing a plus.
- Possession of strong code design skills and code quality/maintainability habits.
- Ability to receive constructive criticism during design and code reviews.
